PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

5 weeks | Online

90-minutes online session per week,
10 hours of total study per week

CURRICULUM

In this module you will:

  • get to know the structure of the programme with associated legal and practical implications
  • get familiarise with the tools and technologies to be used during the programme 
  • Co-create a learning contract defining how you will learn from each and collaborate as well as get to know all faculty members and administrative staff

In this module you will:

  • experiment with reflective practice and Gibbs methodology of adult learning
  • explain and evaluate the coaching and mentoring, their history, definitions, basic principles, goals and areas of application
  • recognise the boundaries of, and between, coaching and mentoring
  • demonstrate an understanding of ethical issues in coaching and mentoring
  • identify and discuss significant pieces of coaching and mentoring literature

In this group mentoring session you will:

  • have access to a digital library to receive insights with various perspectives
  • discover current debate and priorities in mentoring for startups
  • reflect and discuss your findings with your peer participants in a guided discussion

In this module you will:

  • identify and apply various coaching and mentoring skills
  • identify, differentiate, evaluate the use of various tools and methods and practice using them in coaching and mentoring, 
  • identify your internal voice and using coaching skills, demonstrate a non-judgmental dialogue with the mentee
  • develop a solid understanding of the need for continuous professional development and supervision as an EMCC mentor
  • consider and include supervision practices to your mentoring
  • demonstrate an understanding of the 7-eyed supervision model from a supervisee perspective

In this group mentoring session you will:

  • have access to a digital library to receive insights with various perspectives
  • discover current debate on opportunities and challenges scaleup facing
  • reflect and discuss your findings with your peer participants in a guided discussion

In this module you will:

  • Get a deeper understanding of the differentiation between mentoring and coaching
  • Explore the different roles, skill and characteristics of a mentor such as mentor as a storyteller or networker
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of advising a sponsor about the design and delivery of a mentoring programme through the ISMCP framework

In this group mentoring session you will:

  • have access to a digital library to receive insights with various perspectives
  • discover current debate and priorities in leadership in the digital age, and in technology domain
  • reflect and discuss your findings with your peer participants in a guided discussion

In this module you will:

  • design and manage a mentoring relationship
  • demonstrate your skills with a number of fundamental coaching and mentoring activities and approaches, specifically by encouraging and assisting the coachee to discover their values, unlock their potential, create awareness of thoughts, behaviours and action patterns, determine their goals and take action
  • successfully demonstrate your mentoring competencies in designing and holding the first meeting, rapport-building, preparation between sessions, closing a meeting and/or coaching engagement
  • manage contracting in the mentoring relationship
  • identify and incorporate your own preferred clear developmental evaluation system to improve and enhance their practice
